Navigation & Screen Layout

The AVCI CMS interface is divided into three primary zones, allowing you to move quickly between tasks without losing your context.

1. The Global Header (Top Bar)​

The top bar is always visible, no matter what module you are in.

  • Workspace Switcher: Located on the left side of the header. If you manage multiple brands or distinct stores, click this dropdown to instantly switch the entire CMS context from "Store A" to "Store B".
  • Global Search: The central search bar allows you to quickly find specific Orders, Products, or Users without navigating to their respective modules first. Press CMD+K (Mac) or CTRL+K (Windows) to open it from anywhere.
  • Notifications Bell: Alerts you to important systemic events (e.g., "Export completed", "New Dispute Opened").
  • User Profile: Your personal settings, language preferences, and the "Log Out" button.

2. The Main Sidebar (Left Menu)​

The sidebar is your primary map to the system.

  • It is organized logically by department (e.g., Catalog, Finance, Communication).
  • Collapsing: You can collapse the sidebar to icon-only mode to maximize your horizontal screen space, which is especially useful when viewing complex data tables.
  • Active State: The module you are currently in is always highlighted, ensuring you never get lost.

3. Breadcrumbs​

At the top of every main content area (just below the Header), you will see Breadcrumbs (e.g., Catalog > Products > Edit Product).

  • Breadcrumbs are clickable. If you are deep inside an Edit screen and want to return to the main list, simply click the "Products" breadcrumb instead of using your browser's back button.
