Mail Tool (Transactional Emails)
Menu Path: Tools > Mail
The Mail Tool is the engine responsible for dispatching automated, transactional emails to your users (e.g., Order Confirmations, Password Resets).
Note: The technical SMTP credentials (how the emails actually leave your server) are configured in
Workspace Settings > Communication Settings. This module focuses on the content and logs of those emails.
Reviewing Email Logs
It is inevitable that a customer will call support saying, "I never got my order confirmation." This module is where you investigate.
- Navigate to the Mail Tool's Logs tab.
- Search by the customer's email address.
- Delivery Status: Check the status column.
- Sent/Delivered: The email successfully reached their inbox. (Tell them to check their spam folder).
- Bounced: Their inbox is full, or they made a typo in their email address during checkout (e.g.,
@gamil.com). - Failed: There is a configuration issue with your SMTP server.
Sending Manual Emails
While mostly automated, administrators can use this tool to compose and send a manual email to a specific user directly from the CMS, using your official corporate template.
