Permission Requirements
To manage team members, you must have the Workspace:Team:Manage permission.
The Team settings page is where you manage all the users who have access to your workspace backend. You can invite new staff members, assign them specific roles, and revoke access when necessary.
Key Features
1. Team Roster
- The primary interface provides a comprehensive list of all users who currently hold permissions within the workspace.
- You can view their names, email addresses, and the specific roles assigned to them.
2. Adding Team Members
- You can invite new users to join your workspace team.
- When adding a user, you must select which Role they will assume (e.g., Admin, Editor, Support). This role dictates their permissions across the platform based on the configuration in the Roles module.
3. Access Revocation
- If an employee leaves your organization or changes departments, you can quickly remove their access to the workspace or change their assigned role to restrict their permissions.
[!TIP] Regularly audit your Team roster to ensure that only active employees have access to your workspace data. Always revoke access immediately for departed staff.
Common Issues
- Issue: A team member cannot access a specific module.
- Solution: Verify the team member's assigned role on this page. Then, cross-reference that role in the Roles settings to ensure it contains the necessary permissions for the module they are trying to access.
