Pages

Menu Path: Contents > Pages

The Pages module is used to create standalone, often static, informational pages that do not fit into the chronological flow of a blog or news feed. Typical use cases include "About Us", "Privacy Policy", "Terms of Service", and custom landing pages.

Because these pages are critical for trust and user experience, this module includes unique features like attaching dynamic forms or legal agreements directly to a page.

Creating a New Page

To create a new static or landing page:

  1. Go to the Contents > Pages screen.
  2. Click the "Add New" button to open the page builder interface.
  3. You will see several sections to configure your page:

1. Basic Info

This section defines the core identity and behavior of your page.

  • Title: The main headline of the page (e.g., "About Our Company").
  • Status: Choose the visibility: Published (live), Draft (hidden, still editing), Hidden, or Deleted.
  • Category: If you have grouped your pages (e.g., "Legal", "Company Info"), select the relevant category.
  • Slug: The URL path (e.g., about-us). This is crucial for direct linking and SEO. If left blank, it's auto-generated from the Title.
  • Abstract: A short summary of the page content.
  • Form (Custom Form): Unique to Pages! If you want to embed a contact form, survey, or application form directly into this page, select it from the dropdown. (Forms are managed in the Custom Forms module).
  • Agreement (Terms): Unique to Pages! If this page requires the user to read and accept a specific legal agreement (like a Privacy Policy consent), you can attach the specific Terms contract here.

2. Media

  • Featured Image: The main banner or hero image for the page.
  • Gallery: Additional images that can be utilized within the page layout or slider, depending on your frontend design.

3. Content (Rich Text)

  • The main body of your page. Use the rich text editor to write your content, format text with headings, add bullet points, embed links, and insert inline media.
  1. Once you have configured the layout and content, click "Save" to publish or update the page.
