Organization Relation Settings
Menu Path: Workspace > Settings > Relations > Organization
Permission Requirements
To configure Organization Relation settings, you must have the Workspace:Settings:Manage permission.
Organizations represent the highest-level entity that can manage multiple merchants, brands, or places. This module configures the rules for B2B or parent-company structures.
Key Features & Configuration
1. Structural Limits
- Child Entity Limits: Define how many subsidiary merchants or brands can be attached to a single Organization.
- Multi-tenant Control: Enable or disable the ability for organizations to have siloed data access across their subsidiaries.
2. Component Visibility
- Corporate Info: Configure requirements for corporate headquarters address, parent company registration, and executive contact details.
- Billing Entity: Make separate billing address fields mandatory for enterprise invoicing.
3. API & Integration Restrictions
- API Access Limit: If your organizations use your API, you can set default rate limits or restrict their API key generation capabilities here.
[!TIP] Use Organization settings to cater to large franchise clients. By increasing their child entity limits, they can manage dozens of store locations (merchants) under one parent login.
Common Issues
- Issue: An organization cannot link a new merchant to their account.
- Solution: Verify the "Child Entity Limits" restriction. The organization may have reached the maximum allowed number of merchants configured in these settings.
