The Payment Settings module is the central hub where all financial flows, currencies, and transaction limits in your workspace are managed.
Through this page, you can define the currencies accepted by the system, configure payment methods, and integrate live exchange rates.
Key Features & Configuration
1. Global Payment Configuration
You can control the status of the global payment service and operational approval processes.
- Payment Service (isPaymentEnabled): Activates or deactivates the global payment service. When deactivated, no new payments can be received through the platform.
- Transaction Approval (requireApproval): Activates a manual approval mechanism. All transactions will fall into the finance department's approval queue.
- Accepted Currencies (acceptedCurrencies): You can determine the currencies you will accept on the platform (e.g., TRY, USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, JPY).
- Preferred Payment Methods: You can enable or disable options like Credit/Debit Card, Wire Transfer/EFT, Cash on Delivery, and Digital Wallet.
2. Transaction Limits
Allows you to configure limits and restrictions on payment transactions.
- Maximum Number of Transactions (maxPaymentsPerMerchant): Determines the total limit of transactions accepted simultaneously or during the day per merchant. This helps prevent potential fraud or abuse.
3. Live Exchange Rates
You can track active exchange rates in the system and trigger manual updates via a Global Provider. Rates are calculated based on your designated base currency (e.g., TRY).
[!WARNING] Financial Security Reminder: Changes made in payment settings are immediately active for all new transactions. When the service is turned off, the status of existing pending transactions is not affected.
Common Issues
- Issue: The payment module is active, but the payment screen does not open.
