2. Business Information

Route: (setup) > Setup > Brand > Step 2

The Business Information step captures the corporate and descriptive details of the brand itself. This information is vital for the storefront presentation.

Required Details

  • Brand Name: The public-facing name of the brand as it will appear to customers.
  • Brand Story / Description: A rich-text description detailing the history and values of the brand. (Note: Whether this is mandatory depends on the Workspace's Brand Relation settings).
  • Categories: The primary market segments the brand operates in (e.g., Apparel, Electronics, Beauty).

[!WARNING] Category Lock: Selecting the correct categories during onboarding is crucial. If the workspace enforces category exclusivity, the brand will only be able to publish products within the categories selected here.

Brand Assets

  • Logo: The brand's primary logo (SVG or high-res PNG recommended).
  • Cover Image: A wide banner image used for the brand's dedicated storefront page.
