Organizations

Menu Path: Relations > Organizations

The Organizations module is primarily used for B2B (Business-to-Business) operations. It allows you to group multiple standard Users under a single corporate umbrella.

Why Use Organizations?

Imagine you are selling event tickets or training courses. A large corporate client (e.g., "Acme Corp") wants to buy 50 tickets for their employees. Instead of making 50 individual purchases, the "Acme Corp" Organization is billed, but the 50 employees (Users) are linked to the organization to receive their individual tickets.

Creating an Organization

  1. Navigate to Relations > Organizations.
  2. Click "Add New".

1. Corporate Details

  • Name: The legal name of the organization.
  • Domain: The corporate email domain (e.g., @acmecorp.com). In advanced setups, users registering with this domain can be auto-assigned to the organization.
  • Billing Information: Corporate address, tax number, and tax office.

2. Managing Members (Users)

  • Once the Organization is created, you can link existing Users to it.
  • Roles: You can assign specific roles within the organization, such as Admin (can buy products on behalf of the company) or Employee (can only consume products/tickets assigned to them).

3. B2B Pricing (Advanced)

  • Depending on your setup, Organizations can be assigned to special "Customer Groups" that receive distinct B2B pricing, bypassing standard B2C retail prices.
